Opening 3/4 of an Acre June 11 and 13

The long awaited moment has arrived: 3/4 of an acre of our early variety strawberries are ready. U-Pick strawberries will be available Friday and Sunday (June 11 and 13) from 7am - 12pm (reminder: we are CLOSED on Saturday to allow the farmers time to rest). We are excited to have a field full of people making summer memories! Come pick our sweet early varieties.

What you need to know:

• Check our website or social media before you leave home to be sure we haven’t sold out of berries!! We will be posting updates often.

• This will be a short season due to the heat. Thankfully we have irrigation so the berries are good sized and sweet!

• Bring plenty of water for yourself! It’s going to be HOT.

• Boxes and pails for picking will be provided.

Pre-picked strawberries will be available starting Monday, June 14. More info will be posted on our social media and website.

Asparagus + Strawberry Updates

•ASPARAGUS UPDATE•
Wednesday (6/9) will be our last day for picking asparagus. Starting that day at noon we will have tender tips available for sale on the farm. These are 3 to 7 inch asparagus, very tender and no waste for four dollars a pound while they last. They are great for putting in the freezer or fresh eating. That will be the last of the asparagus for 2021 although between now and then we will still have it available on the farm and regular lengths.

The strawberry fields are ready to be filled with visitors making summer memories!

Tues May 4, 2021 Asparagus Available

Greetings!

Today, Tuesday, May 4, we just picked our first asparagus of the season! We will have about 80 lbs available for sale today and will try to get our signs up to help you find us.

Our price on the farm will be $4.00 per pound this year with discounts available for large quantities. As usual, you will find very little waste with our asparagus and we pick fresh every day. We had some roasted and some creamed for breakfast today and it was great!

Look forward to seeing you on the farm. Things are a little early this year, so strawberries could be as early as mid June. They will start to blossom in just a couple of days! We planted another 7000 plants this spring.

TomaTo update 7/26

We will be open for tomato sales here on the farm from 3 PM to 5 PM today (July 26). Call in your order to 507-884-7247. We will have tomatoes all through this week. They are big and beautiful.

The price is $2.50 a pound. They are vine ripened and homegrown. We will consider quantity discounts if you want over 20 pounds for canning.
